Hail Repair
The good news is this isn’t the first time that something like this has happened. So, there are many paintless dent repair and full-service body shops in town that will work with your insurance to take the headache out of the repair process. This is a scary time for many people, but it’s important to find a shop that will fight to get you every penny.
Always get a second estimate if you feel like the quote is not high enough. If you feel that the insurance company has undervalued your vehicle, then it never hurts to get a second opinion. This can help to ensure that you are being quoted the right amount the first time so that you don’t need to pick and choose what gets fixed.
How to know if you should make a claim.
It can be tough to tell whether or not you need to make a claim on the recent damage. As a good rule of thumb, if you see any dimples, dents, or windshield cracks, you should make a claim. Even what seems like the smallest or lightest dents can be major damage. Don’t short-sell your car by not making a claim. The worst thing that can happen from making a claim on a car that isn’t damaged is they tell you there is nothing to claim.
